About My Blog
Hi, I'm Illesse - introvert by nature, writer by choice.

Deep Thinker; Game Changer; INFJ
An Introvert in the Workplace grew out of a need to make sense of my own experiences navigating office life as someone who prefers the quiet side of the spectrum. I wanted to create a space that feels like a deep breath in a noisy world—where introverts can relate, reflect, and realise they’re not the only ones feeling a little out of sync with traditional workplace culture.
This blog isn’t about having all the answers - it’s about starting honest conversations, sharing small observations, and maybe helping someone else feel a bit more seen along the way.
When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me with my nose in a book, coffee in hand, a toddler nipping my ankles, and a cat somewhere nearby (usually judging me).

From Silence to Support
What began as whispered thoughts in workplace corridors has grown into a lifeline for introverts everywhere. This isn't just another introvert blog - it's a sanctuary where quiet voices find their strength and workplace struggles transform into workplace success.
Every introvert knows the feeling: sitting in meetings where your brilliant ideas stay trapped inside, watching extroverted colleagues effortlessly network while you recharge in bathroom stalls, or feeling drained by open office spaces that seem designed for everyone but you. Diary of an Introvert in the Workplace exists because these experiences matter, and more importantly, because you're not alone in them.
Through authentic storytelling, practical introvert advice, and real workplace strategies, this space has evolved into something bigger than I ever imagined. From our comprehensive introvert personality test that helps you understand your unique workplace strengths, to honest insights about thriving as an INFJ in corporate culture, every piece of content serves one purpose: helping introverts not just survive, but absolutely flourish in their lives.
This is where introvert struggles become introvert insights, where quiet people discover their superpowers, and where being yourself isn't just enough - it's your greatest competitive advantage.
